BHOPAL: Special RTE cells have been constituted at the state and district levels to redressing complaints pertaining to children’s rights under the Right to Education Act. The state-level cell is situated at Pustak Bhavan, Arera Hills, Bhopal. District level RTE cells have been set up District Education Centres, throughout the state. These cells will ensure immediate action after receiving complaints pertaining to Right to Education Act.
These cells will take immediate action at the local level after receiving complaints in regards to discrimination against children taking admission under the Act in non-aided and private schools and physical and mental punishment to them. The cell will also send action taken report to Rajya Shiksha Kendra.
The Right to Education cells will also be responsible for redressal of complaints handed over to urban bodies and chief executive officers of Zila Panchayats under Right to Education Act in coordination with above-mentioned institutions. With the constitution of these cells, citizens as well as students can file written complaints or over telephone at concerning District Education Centre as well as headquarters of Rajya Shiksha Kendra at the state level.
